Visual Inspection
Each tire is checked for damage, cracks, bulges and uneven wear. Only tires that are visually and technically flawless are offered for sale.
Tread Depth Measurement
We measure the tread depth at several points and classify the tire into our transparent categories: NEW, A+, A, B+, B.
DOT & Age Inspection
Each tire is evaluated based on its DOT code. The production date is shown in the product details, and we only sell tires that meet our age requirements.
Rim Inspection
Our rims are inspected for cracks, imbalance, deformations and paint damage. Only technically flawless rims are offered for sale.
Which products are inspected and guaranteed?
At Used Tires, all used tires, rims and complete wheel sets undergo a strict quality inspection before sale. Each item is classified by condition (NEW, A+, A, B+, B) and meets our safety requirements. The following aspects are checked:
- Tread depth (multi-point measurement)
- Sidewall & tread surface for damage
- DOT number and production date
- Rim runout, paint condition & structure
Only items that meet our standards are offered for sale.

Can I exchange or return tires or rims?
Yes. At Used Tires, you may return or exchange incorrectly ordered or unsuitable products under certain conditions. The item must:
- remain unmounted and in delivered condition
- not be damaged or altered after delivery
- be returned or shipped within 14 days
In which cases is there no warranty?
In some cases, Used Tires cannot provide a warranty. These include:
- Installation errors by third parties or improper handling
- Damage occurring after purchase
- Excessive use without following recommended care instructions
- Tires that were significantly under- or over-inflated after installation
- Track use or extreme loads beyond normal road use
How are used tires rated at Used Tires?
Each tire undergoes a standardized quality process, resulting in a transparent condition rating:
- NEW: unused, full tread depth
- A+: almost new, minimal use
- A: very good condition, even tread pattern
- B+: visible but minor signs of use
- B: fully usable, budget-friendly option
This clear classification provides maximum transparency when purchasing used tires.
How old can the tires be that I buy at Used Tires?
We sell only tires that are no older than 6 years. The DOT code is provided for every product so you know exactly when the tire was manufactured.
